Toka Multipurpose Cooperative Society (MPCS) Ltd receiving the National Entrepreneurship Award.
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 10 (MExN): Toka Multipurpose Cooperative Society (MPCS) Ltd., from Dimapur, Nagaland was awarded the National Entrepreneurship Award at the recently held National Entrepreneurship Awards in New Delhi.
The organisation was awarded in the A3 category for organizations operating within 10 lakhs to 1 crore in the Difficult Area Operation.
Attended by eminent dignitaries such as Raj Kumar Singh, Minsiter of State (I/C) for Power, New and Renewable Energy & Minister of State, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship; and Mahendra Nath Pandey, Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, GOI and also a host of other dignitaries, the National Entrepreneurship Awards honoured organizations that have impacted lives by way of social and entreneurial efforts at the grassroots level.
It may be mentioned that Toka MPCS is a grassroots level organization providing services in finance, training, incubation, mobilization, marketing, farming, construction and processing aimed at uplifting the economic status of marginalized farmers, women self help groups and entrepreneurs.
It is also the first recipient of the award from the State of Nagaland.
