Vivo T3 Ultra

Vivo T3 Ultra : In a niche already littered with mid-range handsets, the T3 Ultra stands tall by beyond-the-name features at a price that doesn’t make you look like some sort of suspect for the price.

Housed with a great processor, high refresh rate AMOLED and big battery, Vivo touts T3 Ultra a great option for stylish users who also want performance.

—Let’s take a closer look at what sets this device apart — and where it falls short.

Design and Construct: High-end Look Meets Light Weight Design

One of the features everybody loves about the Vivo T3 Ultra is its sleek, contemporary look. The back has a smooth, matte texture that prevents fingerprints and feels soft and premium.

It’s available in stylish colours, Cosmic Blue and Titan Black, designed specifically for minimalists and trendsetters.

With a large screen it may be bulky, but it’s actually rather light in the hand. Sure, the thing’s not going to break in two in your pocket, but at just under 190 grams, it’s easy to carry around and use one-handed. It’s also IP68 rated for water and dust resistance — a rare perk at this price level.

Display: A Visual Delight

It’s built around a 6.78-inch, curve AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate as well as HDR10+ support. The colors are vibrant, blacks are inky, and the screen is easily readable in direct sunlight with a maximum brightness of 1300 nits.

Whether you’re watching videos or endlessly scrolling through content online, the visuals are smooth and fluid.

Performance: Fast and Fluid

At the helm ticks a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chip, which is mated to up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It’s a combination that means day-to-day usage is snappy, and games like Call of Duty: Mobile or Asphalt 9 will run just fine on high settings.

You might feel the phone getting a little hot after long game sessions or with multitasking. It’s not a big deal, but it’s something to think about if you’re a heavy user.

Software: Funtouch OS Gets It (Mostly) Right

With Funtouch OS 14 out of the box based on Android 14, the UI is both clean and feature rich. You get choices such as split-screen multitasking, smart gestures, and app cloning.

That said, there’s some pre-installed bloatware apps and although removable, there’s a little irritable.

(Tragically, no 5G capabilities have been announced yet.) Vivo says it’ll support the software for two years and security patches for three, which offers a little bit of confidence in the longevity of the phone.

Camera Setup: Coy in Fine Lighting

For photography, the T3 Ultra sports 50MP Sony IMX, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro camera. The main sensor gets you good shots in daylight, with detail and vibrancy. Acceptable but not great in low-light.

The 50MP front camera is the highlight, providing selfies with lots of detail and skin tones that are true-to-life. Video is 4K 60fps, and with the camera such a handy size, image stabilisation is good for everyday shooting.

Battery and Charging: All This Power, It Topped-Up Fast

The t3 ultra is fueled by a 5500 mah battery that comfortably lasts a day on moderate to heavy usage. Whether you’re streaming video, browsing, gaming, the battery can handle it. Plus, when you need a top-up the 80W fast charging can fill everything from 0 to 100% in 45–50 minutes.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

Curved 120Hz HDR10+ AMOLED display
The powerful Dimensity 9200+ chipset for seamless operation
Elegant and durable design With its comfortable, ergonomic design and IP68 water and dust resistance, you can easily take your VitaX with you wherever you go.
Sturdy main and selfie cameras at 50MP
Up to 80W charging with a superb battery life
Funtouch OS is feature rich and has a good update policy

Cons:

Runs hot with extended gameplay
Bloatware and Random prompts in UI
Wide-angle and macro cameras are mediocre
No pressure sensitive one, no wireless charging or stereo speakers
Annoying accidental touches possible for some users with curved screen

Vivo T3 Ultra Final Verdict

Performing, looking and feature list are very nicely balanced in the Vivo T3 Ultra for the price. It’s not quite a flagship experience in a mid-range body, then, but it should be enough for people who can appreciate form (and a smoother day-to-day experience) over function (and more ‘stuff’).

If you’re looking for an all-rounder smartphone that feels premium and won’t have you spending more than ₹35,000, this one certainly needs you to have a look.
